CUMBERNAULD played host to its first ever continental market last week - and a few colourful characters too!

The Antonine Centre was the scene for the vibrant selection of stalls from all across Europe, offering tasy and exotic delicacies such as Spanish Paella, Turkish Baklava and German Bratwurst.

There was so much on the go that some special guests came all the way from Disneyland to see what all the fuss was about - and Mickey and Minnie were happy to chat to their many young fans.
