TWO films made by students at Cumbernauld High will be shown on giant screens throughout London in the run up to the Olympic Games.

The youngsters have been taking part in the BT Big Voice project and both of their movies - which deal with discriminastion - have made the shortlist of only 36 chosen from around the country.

The group were supported in production by staff from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Linsey Hall, english teacher at the Kildrum school, said: “It has been great working with the pupils on this.”
