Happy New Year, China!

The Chinese New Year celebration at The Meadow Club in Baird Memorial Primary School

THESE pupils from The Meadow Club Baird at Memorial Primary notched up TWO New Year celebrations this year - Ne’er Day AND The Chinese New Year. And it’s given them a chance to learn more about this faraway land.

It may well be the Year of the Dragon - but the fiery one clearly had some competition from the lovable pandas at Edinburgh Zoo which are also a big hit with the children!
