Santa’s little helpers go the extra mile

A ‘JOURNEY’ to Lapland and back has helped raise a mammoth £1830.74 for Cancer Research UK.

Staff, customers and others joined Tesco in Cumbernauld’s town centre on a ‘trip’ to the magical place which is home to Santa.

They got on their bikes – which were provided by Broadwood gym – to clock miles, and local firefighters and S6 pupils from Greenfaulds High School also got in on the action.

Catherine Drummond, Tesco community champion, said: “I want to thank everyone who took part and made the event a success. We were really pleased.”
