LOCAL actor James Keenan is to star in a play being presented as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

James, pictured, who lives in Blackwood, will feature alongside Natalie Clark in the comedy Great Lengths, a play by Tom Brogan.

Many local theatregoers will recall his numerous appearances with the Apex Players. Now a professional actor, James has recently appeared in a video for rising local band Madison and also went to India to shoot a film where he played a Buddhist monk.

It plays at The Old Hairdressers in Renfield Lane, Glasgow on Wednesday and Thursday, March 27 and 28. Tickets are £6/£5.
