A FESTIVAL of fun will be held during the school Easter holidays in Kilsyth.

The free event at St Patrick’s Primary School runs between 11am and 3pm, and there will be lots of events for young people up to 16 years old to enjoy.

Events, costing from just £1, will also run at venues across North Lanarkshire including The Tryst Centre in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Swimming Pool.

Kids can take part in TOP play, racquet sports, handball, basketball, dance mats, balloon modelling, giant games, Activ8, parachute games, face painting and more.

Blane Dodds, chief executive of North Lanarkshire Leisure Trust, said: “The Easter events are always something we look forward to putting on.

“They give youngsters the chance to take part in games and activities that they might not

normally get an opportunity to be involved in.

“During the school holiday period these events

provide a great chance for parents and carers to get youngsters out for some fun and exercise.”
