Curtain up on new theatre season
CUMBERNAULD Theatre has announced details of its autumn season, which begins next month.
Regular music nights start things off, with Monday night jam sessions on September 6, 20 and 27 and the resumption of Cumbernauld Performers' Forum's acoustic music nights, which are held fortnightly every Wednesday from September 8.
Patrick Rolink is returning for another run of the popular Comedy Cafe evenings, with the first on September 9.
The season's first drama production is The Bookie, a new Scottish musical by Douglas Maxwell, which runs at the theatre from Friday September 10 until Saturday, September 18.
Colin Scougall and his Band play the theatre on September 25, with Broadway to Hollywood - a selection of show tunes and film scores.
To book tickets for any of these shows call the Theatre's Box Office on 01236 732887 or go on online at www.cumbernauldtheatre.co.uk, where full details of the productions are available.
