The cream of the alternative music crop

It’s a showcase of the best emerging artists, with the winners are decided by public vote.

This year’s nominees include Adam Stafford, Withered Hand, Roman Nose, Washington Irving, Young Fathers, Hector Bizerk and Silibil n Brains (stars of last year’s The Great Hip Hop Hoax), to name a few.

The line-up for the evening includes The Lafontaines, Model Aeroplanes, Brown Bear & the Bandits and more — so there’s plenty on offer for the discerning music fan.
