Provost Fletcher said: “Remembrance Sunday gives us all an opportunity to mark the area’s fallen war heroes, honouring those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.

This day of remembrance gives us time to reflect, as well as showing our respect and gratitude to our armed forces.

This year marks 100 years since the end of the First World War and I am honoured to have the opportunity to be a part of these services.”
