A TALKING newspaper which hit headlines two weeks ago after its studio was flooded has been thrown a lifeline.
For among offers of support to help the charity is a cash pledge from The Celtic View.
We reported how Cumbernauld Audio News could no longer record its audio version of this newspaper for blind and partially sighted people following a disastrous flood at the group’s tiny studio in Ravenswood.
Members had been providing that vital service for three decades but with waterlogged equipment, this could not continue - especially as members did not have the funds to make any form of contingency plan.
