A local charity which works to improve the lives of older people is to host a sponsored fire walk.

CACE - Older People, Active Lives is organising an event on Friday, October 28 at Crowwood Golf Club from 7pm until late.

Tickets to watch others test their courage and enjoy the other entertainment are available for £10 each while anyone wishing to take part in the fire walk is asked to raise £100 in sponsorship.

Screwfix is an official partner in this event and several of their staff will take on the fire walk.

For forms contact the CACE office at Dunnswood House in Wardpark or call 01236 451393.
