A WOMAN from Cumbernauld will be bringing the sounds of the 1970s back to her home town and raising cash for charity at the same time.
Cheryl Reid (29) works as a fundraiser for the NSPCC. However she is also a talented singer and for over a year has performed the role of Frida in tribute band Abba Cadabra.
Both of those roles will come together when Cheryl and Abba Cadabara perform at Condorrat Social Club on Saturday, March 5, in a benefit concert for NSPCC.
Cheryl said: “I’m looking forward to moving back to my hometown and especially to perform!
“I would encourage anyone who is up for some 70s revival fun to come along. We’ll have costumes and platforms to give it the full 70s feel!”
