MEN’S Group meet tonight, Wednesday, June 8, when the guest speaker will be Stuart Ballantyne, Trossachs Search and Rescue.

Free Church Centre

SUNDAY Services to which all are invited are at 11am and 6.30pm. Crèche, Sunday School and Bible class meet during the Morning Service. This evening, Wednesday, June 8, the annual CWI meeting takes place in Dowanvale Free Church at 7.30pm – phone 722562 for details.

LITTLE Lambs (the Mothers & Toddlers group) meets on Tuesdays at 10am and Kidz Club (for five to 10 year-olds) meets on Thursdays at 6.30pm – these are the last meetings of the term; the organisers wish to thank all those who attended and helped in any way.

Abronhill Parish Church

WELCOME to prayer group on Sunday at 9.30am. The morning service starts at 11.15am. The Sunday School for all ages meet at the same time.

THE Guild meet every Wednesday for tea, coffee and home baking at 8pm. The Guild of Friendship are meeting on Thursday, June 16 at 2pm. Come along to one or both these meetings for a chat, tea or coffee and meet new friends.

FOCAL point group meet on Sunday, June 12 at 7.15pm.

THERE is a joint service with St Lucy’s Church taking place in Abronhill Church on Sunday, June 19 at 6.30pm. All welcome.

BORED on a Sunday afternoon, then why not make Sunday a Funday and go along to the Sunday Club every week from 2.30-3.30pm? Four year olds and upward enjoy games, singing, bible stories and quizzes. Go along and find out what you’re missing. It’s a lot of fun.

THE Over Sixties Club meet every Tuesday at 1.30pm. Go along for an enjoyable afternoon out, enjoy a cuppa, meet up with old friends and make some new ones.

SALVATION Army Sports Club in Kildrum Primary School every Tuesday, 7-9pm for children aged ten years upwards; admission 75p.

EVERY Wednesday, why not drop in to Salvation Army Hall and meet Lts Stephen and Jo between 11am and 12.30pm. They will be glad to meet and chat in confidence with you over a coffee.

TREASURED Tots Toddler Group meet Thursdays, 9.30-11.30am for play, activities, snack and singing. Phone telephone number above for details.

FRIDAY night is Fun Club. Children aged five to 11 years, go along for fun and games every Friday from 6 to 7pm. Tuck shop available.

Cornerstone Christian Fellowship

ALL are welcome to join with us at our Sunday morning service at 11am in Cornerstone House, 1 Esk Walk, Town Centre, Cumbernauld. Children’s Bible Club and creche facilities are available.

CORNERSTONE Kids Club (primary age children) meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month during school term from 6.30-7.30pm, with crafts, songs, bible stories, games and fun.

Struthers Memorial Church

SUNDAY at 10.30am, Communion Service with creche, Sunday school and Bible class. At 6.30pm short, family service with children’s activities. Coffee shop usually open at end of service.

TUESDAY at 8pm, Bible Study currently on John’s Gospel, followed by prayer meeting (optional) 9pm.

FRIDAY Club from 7 to 8pm, primary age group, with games, singing, quizzes, football and tuck shop. High school age group is from 8.15 to 10pm with singing, discussion groups, games and outings.

WHY not go along on a Saturday night to the church in Westbourne Gardens, Hyndland, Glasgow G12 9XF, for 7.30pm where a large gathering of Christians join together to hear the word of God and worship.

WHY not visit the lovely newly refurbished coffee shop attached to Struthers Church in Abronhill. Opening hours: Thursday, 10.30am to 5pm and Friday, 10.30am to 4pm.

Mossknowe Gospel Hall

SUNDAY Family Services are held each Sunday at 11.30am. On the first Sunday of the month it will be followed by a light lunch. A warm welcome is given to everyone to join in.

Aerobics Groups: Meetings are on Tuesdays at 7.15pm. The class is taken by a trained instructor and is suitable for all age groups.

Toddlers Group: meet on Wednesdays, from 10am to 12noon.

FRIDAY Clubs meet on Fridays, at 6.45pm. The junior section for children of primary school age finishes each Friday at 8pm. The older group play indoor sport games in the gym halls at Cumbernauld High School until 7.45pm when they come back to the Church Hall for a tuck shop and a time of informal singing and discussions until 9pm. A warm welcome is given to everyone to join us at these meetings.
