Cumbernauld’s Tryst is targeted again

Lockers at the Tryst have been targeted for the second time this year and we can reveal a car has been stolen as a result.

Police have confirmed that a thief plundered a locker in changing facilities, in a move that gave them full access to valuables.

A number of personal items were stolen from the locker and that included the keys to a silver Toyota Avensis.

The vehicle was driven away from the sports centre and hasn’t been seen since.

The incident took place on Sunday, December 21 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Earlier this year we reported that thieves had targeted the changing area. disappeared with a selection of valuables including wallets, smartphones and other gadgetry.

A number of leisure centres in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire have also been targeted.
