LOCAL students have recorded a charity single for Sports Relief.

Events students Paul McArdle, Ian Ralston and Sammie Cowie, under the name Team Purple Cobra, ran an online poll to find the college’s favourite sports anthem.

Some 40 sports students then performed the winning song, with lead vocals delivered by Gary Flint, Patrick McCabe, Andrew McNamme, Calvin Wallace, Ross McConville and Kiefer Holdsworth. The final recording was produced by music students.
