A CUMBERNAULD gardening retailer is looking for a local charity to support this year.
Each year Dobbies selects their local Charity of the Year, which will become the recipient of fundraising activities such as prize draw opportunities and in-store events.
Dobbies is currently looking for a charity operating locally in the Cumbernauld area, which provides services or projects to the community.
The retailer is also encouraging the public to nominate charities for consideration before February 28.
May Rankin, community champion at Dobbies Garden World, Cumbernauld, said: “After experiencing great success working with our previous charity partners, and the overwhelmingly positive response we have received from applicants this year, we would like to extend the deadline for applicants until the end of the month. Our customers have always been extremely generous in supporting our charities, and will do all they can to take part in our fundraising activities planned throughout the year.”
