A Cumbernauld man who had his HGV licence taken away from him after suffering from a head injury will be able to drive again thanks to help from a local politician.

MP Gregg McClymont helped Gavin Young, from Seafar, get his licence back after the DVLA refused to reissue it.

Gavin automatically lost his because of the accident which resulted him getting a head injury, and despite getting the all-clear from his doctor to drive, the DVLA still refused to reissue the license.
