People in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth are being urged to ‘give what they can’ to help the growing number of Syrian refugees fleeing war, by leading Scottish international aid charity, SCIAF.

The charity is working with its partner Caritas Jordan to provide emergency aid including medical care and trauma counselling, together with vouchers for food, clothing and accommodation to Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians who have opened their home to help the new arrivals.

But more aid is urgently needed.
