A dynamic Cumbernauld woman who embraces healthy living with compassion for animals has scooped the laurels in a top contest.
Stefanie Moir (24) has been named the UK and Ireland’s Hottest Vegan by international animal charity PETA.
The accolade is the latest triumph for the enterprising Balloch resident who runs the blog NaturallyStefanie.com.
In fact, Stefanie who is a former pupil of St Maurice’s High School has a whopping 66,000 followers on Instagram.
And she also has her own healthy livingchannel on YouTube, which is viewed by 69,000 subscribers.
Stefanie has been delighted to tell them of her triumph and the fact that she’s won a one-night stay for two at luxury boutique hotel La Suite West in London with vegan breakfast and specially prepared evening meal thrown in!
Describing herself as “bubbly and outgoing” Stefanie said: “I went vegan three years ago to be able to live the healthiest and fittest life while also reducing cruelty to animals.
“I wanted to do my part to reduce the suffering of animals and damage to the planet.
“I was surprised to have been in the final so it was a shock to win the competition.
“There were so many great entries and I am grateful for everyone who voted for me.”
PETA director Mimi Bekhechi said: “Stefanie is as attractive on the inside as the outside as she’s chosen a lifestyle that’s kind to animals, the planet and her own health.”
