The News and Chronicle’s Summer of Love campaign has caught the imagination of businesses in our circulation area - and now it’s time for our readers to join in the fun.
We’ve been offering some great advertising options to help firms as they aim to take advantage of the green shoots of recovery which we are finally seeing.
Now we’re focusing on all that’s good in our community in a unique project timed to coincide with the longest day on Friday.
We’re going to be out and about throughout the day shooting mini videos of everything from sunrises to people walking in our parks. We’ll then package them together and make them available to view on our website.
But we also want to give you a chance to take part.
All you need to do is take a short video clip - 20 or 30 seconds on a mobile phone will do - on Friday and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll feature as many as we can on our website at www.cumbernauld-news.co.uk and you can also follow what we’re up to on Twitter using the hashtag #longestlocalday.
As it’s a project to mark the longest day, all videos must be taken on Friday and, because we want to have them online that evening, they need to be with us no later than 2 p.m.
Go on, make sure you make you mark in our longest day!
For those business who haven’t advertised with us for a while, the Summer of Love campaign runs throughout June. To take advantage of our offers, call [(01236) 725578] or e-mail email@example.com.
