CHURCHGOERS continued their efforts to raise funds to restore their church back to its glory by holding a Christmas fayre.
The Condorrat Parish Church Christmas fayre was held on Saturday, November 17, and a massive £1,450 was raised.
The money raised will go towards the refurbishment project which is expected to cost over £100,000.
The church also recently held a fashion show to boost the refurbishment funds and they are planning a dinner, dance and ceilidh event in the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld on Friday, February 15, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £25 for the event and can be purchased within the church.
Margaret McCallum, who is a church elder and convenor of the fundraising committee, said: “It went very well and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves.
“We have to thank everyone who attended the event especially with the Christmas light switch-on happening in the town centre around the same time.
“We do appreciate all the help from the local community as it keeps us going as a church.”
