The controversial housing of a child sex offender in Kilsyth sparked a demonstration as irate mothers flocked to his address.
And both police and housing bosses from North Lanarkshire Council were called in to deal with the highly charged incident.
This kicked off at 8pm on Friday, August 21 in the otherwise quiet Jarvie Crescent.
It has been reported that the call to muster outside the house had been raised on a social networking site.
Those involve believe Kilsyth is being used as a dumping ground for undesirables.
