KILSYTH’s Main Street was the scene of a bust-up between warring tradesmen.

Astonished onlookers witnessed a stramash after fighting broke out between carpet fitters in the former Kilsyth Co-operative premises around 4pm- just paces away from the town’s new police station.

Police swooped and have confirmed that four males aged between 18 and 30 were arrested.

A report on this incident, which police say happened on Friday, has been sent to the procurator fiscal in Airdrie.
