LANARK and District Pipe Band escort Lord Cornet-elect Gordon Gray down the High Street to St Nicholas Church for the Kirkin’ on Sunday, June 7 2015.

The ecumenical service is the first event of the traditional Lanimer Week. Gordon will be sashed as Lord Cornet on Monday night after the Perambulation of the Marches, the checking of the Royal Burgh’s March Stones.
