Arrests made for alleged drugs offences in Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Moodiesburn

POLICE in Cumbernauld have made 13 arrests in the last week for seperate incidents relating to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Pro active policing between January 24 and 27 in Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Moodiesburn brought about the arrests for the alleged offences.

Michael Duffy, community safety officer at Cumbernauld Police Office, said: “This spate of detections should surely act as a warning to others that drug misuse will not be tolerated and persons identified will be dealt with appropriately.
