Cumbernauld Swimmers turned away

LEISURE bosses are continuing to defend their controversial decision to close the Tryst pool to the public for FIVE HOURS on weekdays.

Swimmers seeking pool use are being turned away – and are effectively barred from the facility between 3pm from 8pm.

The News is continuing to receive complaints from disgruntled swimmers who feel that the pool has become a no-go area for those seeking out a post-work swim.

Meanwhile the pool is being used by elite athletes from Cumbernauld Swimming Club – or for swimming lessons.
