Dog walker attack claim in Kilsyth

A PENSIONER was assaulted whilst walking his dog in Kilsyth.

The attack happened at around 9am on Sunday, February 24, close to St Patrick’s Primary School.

Police say the 79-year-old man was punched in the chest. He later attended hospital where he was found to have soft tissue damage. The suspect is described as between 35 and 40 years old.

He has a heavy build and he was wearing a dark coloured jacket and blue jeans.

Police also say the suspect may have been accompanied by a dog believed to be a black Labrador.
