Firefighters make midnight dash to Kilsyth

FIREFIGHTERS from Cumbernauld made a midnight dash to Kilsyth on Monday, October 29, after reports of a blaze in Kirklands Crescent.

A worried resident telephoned to say that a wheelie bin outside a property was ablaze and that they feared it would spread.

Thankfully the blaze was quickly brought under control.

It is not known if the blaze was started maliciously . A fire crew has been sent round to the premises to establish the facts behind the incident.
