Have your say on council services

Council tenants across North Lanarkshire are being reminded that there is still time to have their say on how the housing services they receive are shaped.

Each tenant should by now, have received a copy of the tenants survey, including a prepaid envelope for a free response. And for the first time, tenants will be able to complete the questionnaire online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/nltenantsurvey2012

THERE is still time to have your say on how council housing services are delivered.

North Lanarkshire Council says that they have delivered a copy of the tenants’ survey, including a prepaid envelope for a free response to most of its residents.

And for the first time, tenants will also be able to complete the questionnaire online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/nltenantsurvey2012.

The survey has 30 questions and those taking part will have the chance to win one of ten home improvement

vouchers worth £50 each in a free prize draw.

The council wants to find out how it can improve and develop the services that are important to its tenants;

where there is good practice so that this can be put in place in other areas, and where there are problems in providing and delivering its services so that these can be resolved.

Councillor Sam Love, convener of housing and social work services, said: “Surveys like this are an

invaluable way for us to improve the services we offer to our tenants.

“I would encourage as many people as possible to complete the questionnaire and give us your views.”

The date for returns has been extended to Friday, January 18.

If you need help to fill in your form, please contact your local housing office or First Stop Shop and a member

of staff will be happy to help.
