COULD convicted criminals help cure the litter problems at a local woodland? Such is the belief of one local representative.

Councillor Willie Goldie wants to see offenders carrying out court-ordered unpaid work brought to Luggiebank Woods near Westfield Industrial Estate to carry out litter cleanups. The woods have a long-standing problem with litter and fly tipping.
