Man left with chipped tooth after Cumbernauld assault

A MAN was left with a blooded nose and chipped tooth after being assaulted in Cumbernauld.

The 29-year-old was attacked by two men between 2.20pm and 2.45pm on St Mungos Walk on Friday, January 18, and police have launched an appeal for witnesses.

The suspects shouted at the victim before punching him to the head and body. They then fled the scene, and anyone with information should contact Cumbernauld Police Office on 01236 503 900.
