New health centre to be double the size

A PLANNING application for Kilsyth’s new state-of-the-art £8 million community health centre is expected to be submitted for approval.

The health board behind the plans, NHS Lanarkshire, have declared they will formally submit their proposals to North Lanarkshire Council before Christmas.

NHS Lanarkshire hope to build a modern community health centre which is equipped to provide a wide range of services including GP practice, mental health, podiatry, physiotherapy, speech and language, NHS dentist practice and other local clinics.
