Open day at Irn-bru plant

Cumbernauld-based company Barr, the makers of Irn-Bru, is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, September 11, from 10am to 4pm.

The free event is a chance to look at the history of the company and get a glimpse of its future, as a further 10million of investment is to be put into the Cumbernauld factory over the next 18 months.

Spaces are limited, call 01236 852452 to reserve your ticket.

The tour is suitable for ages 10 and above, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is part of Lanarkshire's annual Doors Open Day .
