Police seek witnesses to Kilsyth break ins

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two businesses in Kilsyth’s were broken into and vandalised.

Paul Surgeon’s barber shop and adjoining salon Braids, at 18-20 Market Street, were broken into with cash and equipment stolen, as well as a Rangers top signed by last year’s first team and a Celtic top signed by Bobo Balde. Extensive damage was done to the properties, which were also flooded due to taps being left running overnight.

A police spokesman said: “We would ask anyone offered hairdressing equipment or these distinctive football tops, or anyone who may have information about this incident, to contact us on 01236 503900 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
