Rooftop car park gets a makeover
WORK to upgrade the rooftop car park at Cumbernauld shopping centre is to begin this week.
Management at the shopping centre appologises to shoppers for any inconvience caused by the improvements, which will be ongoing until October.
The first phase will see half the rooftop car park closed for four to five weeks so the asphalt near Cafe Spice can be replaced. The up ramp from St Mungo's Road at the east end of the shopping centre, will also be closed during this time.
The rooftop car park will still be open to shoppers, but the management team will be restricting parking to shoppers and employees only.
