Vandals attack bus

CARELESS vandals smashed the window of a moving bus which was travelling from Cumbernauld to Glasgow on Thursday, December 27.

The First Glasgow bus X3A was targeted on the B802 going through Westfield Road at around 7.45pm.

Police could not confirm what object was thrown at the bus – which was a double decker – but they did say the top rear window was smashed.

No one was injured on the bus but police are keen to track down a gang of around six youths who were spotted hanging around close to a roundabout at St Maurice’s High School, near where the incident happened.
