Woman hurt in an alleged assault in a Cumbernauld nightclub

A 19-YEAR-OLD woman was allegedly assaulted in a Cumbernauld nightclub on Sunday, January 13.

Police say the incident happened within the Basement nightclub at around 1.45am.

The victim received 10 stitches to a facial injury.

A 20-year-old woman was expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, January 14.ould contact Cumbernauld Police Office on 01236 503900.
