The Cumbernauld couple behind an award-winning answering service have won new honours in time for their firm’s tenth anniversary.
Chris and Alison Munro’s business KBVO (Knowledge Base for Virtual Offices) has been named the best loved telephone answering service in the UK for an unprecedented fifth consecutive year.
The dedication shown by the firm’s Cumbernauld staff - and their friendly manner - was reckoned the deciding factor in the latest success.
Chris says the key award from The Best Of online business directory is down to the company’s Cumbernauld-based staff “knowing how important it is to answer the ‘phone with a smile”.
He said: “The provision of a consistently high quality service is of prime importance to our clients and, as this award demonstrates, that is exactly what we are able to provide.
“It was a very closely-run race last year, but I’m told that we blew the competition out of the water this year, because we put in a lot of time and effort into winning this award, – so we’re thrilled.”
“The award was much easier to win five years ago when it was less well known – the last couple of years have been really tough as the competition has grown more intense.”
The Best Of business directory, which lists over 30,000 firms, used client feedback and testimonials to decide which was the best service in the UK.
KBVO’s key services include ‘phone answering, order taking, diary management, reception services, virtual ‘phone numbers and a help desk service.
Chris said: “Our PA’s know they are valued by their clients, which means that they continually go that extra mile to make the difference.”
The firm, employing around 20, is based at Carron House in Carron Way.
