KILSYTH historian Willie Chalmers has added yet another book to his ever-popular Times Past series.

The fourth offering has a striking blue cover and features 52 pages packed with fascinating pictures.

Each image is accompanied by a detailed caption explaining the scene.

Willie said: “People are pretty interested in the books, it’s that wee human bit in it I suppose, wondering what was happening back then.”

The latest offering, along with the previous three editions, are on sale in Main Street shops R. A. Cant and Son and G. Miller and Son, all priced at £6.50.
