No action on road calming despite fears

DEMANDS for North Lanarkshire Council to introduce traffic calming measures on several Condorrat roads have not been met despite residents handing in a petition containing over 300 signatures.

Condorrat Community Council handed in a petition containing 343 signatures calling for the provision of traffic calming measures on Dalshannon View, Dalshannon Road and Baird Crescent.

Residents living in the area were concerned about the speeds some cars were travelling through the road, particularly with St Helen’s Primary School nearby.
