ARE YOU proud of your home town?
Do you love your village or do you feel your local community is the friendliest in the country?
If so, vote for your special place and help it win the Civic Pride Award for Scotland’s favourite location.
Civic Pride is a new category in the well-established Scottish Design Awards, which take place on May 25 at the Radisson Hotel, Glasgow.
The nominations process has already begun thanks to an association with sponsors KILTR, the social network for everyone with an interest in Scotland.
But there is still time for News and Chronicle readers to add their town, village or community to the list.
Just log on to www.scottishdesignawards.com and follow the link.
And be sure to tell your family and friends to join in. If you love your home town why not shout it from the rooftops!
Brian Hughes, chief executive officer of KILTR, said: “We’re delighted to be backing the first ever Scottish Civic Pride Awards and helping to shine a spotlight on Scotland’s favourite towns and communities.
“At KILTR, we’re all about harnessing the positivity of Scots and affinity Scots from all around the world for the benefit of Scotland’s future, commercially and culturally.”
