Grabbing the mike, taking the floor, showing everyone what they’re made of - that’s what these young performers were determined to do.

They heeded the call when Our Lady’s High School announced that its talent show would give pupils the opportunity to give it their best shot onstage.

The pupils gamely did so and wowed the audience with their expertise, confidence and determination to let everyone see what they were capable of.

A school spokersperson said: “It was a top night of entertainment.

“A jam-packed hall was able to see singers, dancers, gymnasts and rock stars as weeks of rehearsing came together.

“Mrs Wilson and Mrs Ferris Bell of the English department were delighted by the efforts of all involved as pupils and staff worked hard both on and off stage to make the night one to remember.’’
