This week 175 families are preparing for a very uncertain future, as the Cumbernauld firm is in talks to axe half of its workforce.
In the time of global recession there are very few communities escaping some kind of hit. However, the Westminster and Scottish Goverments and local council need to work together to recruit more firms in. Surely deals can be done to offer superb incentives to firms willing to relocated to Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. With a skilled workforce on the doorstep some business will find it’s just what they need.
