THE REVIVAL of live music at the Twa Corbies “Red House” is going so well that this weekend there will be not one but two performances at the venue.
On Friday, August 5, Perfect Remedy take to the stage. This band have performed together for an impressive 22 years.
PR manager John Gough said: “The Corbies’ reputation is second to none, and the band are really pleased to have secured a couple of dates there before Christmas. Every band playing the Corbies is top notch, so we are chuffed to be in great company.”
Perfect Remedy are Arch Fisher, John O’Donnell, Wullie McKeown and Paul Gribbin on rhythym guitar and vocals. The set might include songs by some or all of the following: The Who, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Small Faces, Kings of Leon, and the Jam... the list goes on!
And on Sunday American singer-songwriter Charlie Roth will take to the stage, alongside local guitarist Matt Morrow.
For both gigs the doors will open at 8pm and entry is just £3.
