A Cumbernauld man who could barely get on a bike last year has cycled from London to Brighton shifting an incredible seven stone in the process.
Taxi driver Phil Jones (46), of Abronhill, was battling with obesity when he decided to turn his life around. He said: “I needed to lose weight because I was very unwell. I had several obesity related illnesses because I was so overweight.
“I joined Slimming World last August to help me reach a healthy weight but I decided I needed to find something to work towards.
“I therefore decided to do the cycle.”
