A project which aims to reduce crime and the fear of crime within the home has been delivered to Women’s Aid.

Cumbernauld Police teamed up with the organisation and Mears to provide the services of the Safer Homes Initiative.

Working on a referral basis, over 300 homes have been visited by the team who run the Safer Homes Initiative resulting in the installation of around 230 safety measures.
