Scottish Water to upgrade treatment plants with £12 million package
That is the aim behind a major package of spending by Scottish Water, upgrading several treatment plants, boosting the quality of local rivers – mainly the Clyde – but also the water that comes out of your tap at home.
Although several of the projects are underway and even nearing completion, the company held a formal launch of the investment package at perhaps the best-loved stretch of the river, the Falls at New Lanark.
