Police are warning business owners to be extra vigilant after a number of premises were targeted in the Wardpark North area of Cumbernauld.
Four separate premises were targeted over the weekend period.
The first incident saw three stainless steel sections stolen between 8.15pm on Friday, September 20, and 8.35am the following day.
The second incident took place between 1.45pm on Friday, September 20 and 7am on Monday, September 23.
Crooks damaged an external door in an attempt to gain entry.
The third incident happened between 4pm on Friday, September 20 and 8.35am the following day.
Four air conditioning units were stolen.
The final break-in happened between 1.30am and 5.45am on Saturday, September 21 when around £6000 worth of tools were stolen.
Police have not named the premises involved in the incidents but anyone with information should call 101.
