A game of one half

IT is often said that it was a game of two halves, but Kilsyth Rangers game against Kello Rovers on Saturday was more of a game of one half.

Rangers totally dominated the first 45 minutes and had established a three-goal lead which they never looked like losing.

The second period was almost a non-event, Rangers were comfortably ahead but did not add to their total until the last few seconds when they were awarded a penalty.

Kello came and left in third place in the table but on this showing they will struggle to maintain that position.

For the full match report see this week’s Cumbernauld News and Kilsyth Chronicle - on sale January 2.

Rangers travel to face Yoker Athletic this Saturday in another league match. Kick-off is at 1.45 p.m.

Some seats will be available on the team bus for the fourth round Scottish Cup tie at Kinnoull on Saturday, January 19. Anyone interested in booking a place contact Russell McKay on 824462 as soon as possible.
