CAMPSIE Black Watch under 19s managed to beat the winter weather at the weekend to play an important league game against Pollock United.
The two teams managed to secure the Toryglen Indoor complex on Saturday.
With this the only league game on because of the bad weather, Campsie notched up yet another three points add to their tally.
The young Watch dominated play in the first half which rewarded them with a 4-1 lead at half-time – goals coming from Aitken (2), Prentice and Cousland.
The goal for the visitors came from Chris Boyd.
After the break the young Watch were moving the ball around with ease and Pollock couldn’t cope with the pressure and the floodgates opened.
Prentice got another goal, O’Conner grabbed two, Haddow, Auld and Reid all hit the back of the net and man of the match Aitken found the net four times in the second half to get his double hat-trick and make the final score 14-1.
